Los Angeles 2028 Learning Mission
We are happy to share CT2040 is planning its next learning mission to the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
LA28’s Games Plan is built around the use of existing world-class venues, iconic Southern California locations, beaches, universities, parks, entertainment districts and temporary structures, with a strong emphasis on the athlete and fan experience, sustainability and fiscal responsibility.
Our aim is to study how LA28 organises venue zones, sports clusters, mobility, public space, fan experience and Games-time city operations, and what Cape Town and South Africa might learn from this approach.
